Apple scones and cinnamon green tea | April 17, 2019 Ingredients 250gm self-rising flour50 gm. butter diced25gm caster sugar150ml milk1 egg and a tbsp. Milk beaten together1 tbsp. curd1 tsp. salt1 tsp. baking soda1 apple peeled cored and diced Method 1 - Preheat the oven to 200 C 2 - In a large bowl mix the flour and butter. Rub it lightly into the flour with your fingertips. 3 - When the mixer resembles fine breadcrumbs add the salt sugar and baking soda mix to combine. Stir in the apple. 4 - Add just enough milk and mixture of milk and egg to bring the mixture together. To form a soft dough (but not sticky) take care not to handle the dough too much or the scones will become heavy. 5 - Stamp out the round with cookie cutter.
